Bone Farm

So I finished 'Boneshaker' last night. I cannot tell you how excited I am that there are more books in this story and that it isn't quite finished yet! I'm definitely going to have to restrain myself and try to avoid running over to B&N to buy them all at once. I don't have the money for that right now, given all the other books I've bought lately, haha.

I also started 'The Farm' today and finished it about an hour ago. I didn't think I would like it very much at all because it has vampires in it, but holy crap...It was so much better than I thought it would be. Also, the weight of the book was perfect, as well as the bendiness/paperback-iness of it, so it made me happy to be holding it...which was also why I couldn't put it down...Help.

I've been trying to read as many books as I can before going back to class (tomorrow) since I know I'm going to be struggling to read books for awhile from tomorrow on. I can happily say that I've read quite a few books in the past two weeks and each one of them has been excellent (I suppose with one exception) and has satisfied by hunger for stories. I've got three more that I'm really, really, excited to read and can't wait to pick up. My next will probably be 'For the Win' since I'm craving some more techno-jargon and such.

Alright. I have to go to sleep. I'm getting up at five in the morning tomorrow. Kill me please.

Boneshaking

Just finished my cup of coffee and settling down to read 'Boneshaker' by Cherie Priest. As long as I'm not called into work today then I think I can make it through the whole book by the time I go to bed tonight. 'Tis not too long. Has to be a good story of course. If it's crap then I won't be able to stick with it for that long.

I start classes on Monday, so I'm stressing a little about what life is going to be like with my homework, job-work schedule, and booktubing schedule. I know I can for sure post one video a week, I just need to figure out if that's going to be an update video or a review first. I'll figure it out. I've got two videos that need to be posted this week anyways, so depending how the reading today goes I might be able to post one tonight :)

Well. Off to work I go! And by that I mean reading. Yeah.

Cloud Shitless

Ugh. Has anyone tried to read Cloud Atlas? I am having the hardest damn time with that. I struggled through the first ten pages and then flipped through the rest of the book to see if it got better...yeah. It doesn't. I think I'm going to go to B&N today and look for something different. 'Cause this is just going to be one of those books that I have to put back on my shelf for awhile...or a few years. Ya know.

I'm desperate to read 'The Story of Edgar Sawtelle' but because I have the feeling that it's going to be good I'm trying to save it for the end of the month. I don't know why I do that. But oh well.

We'll see what other books I can find!

Also, I'm going to try and post here more often. I know I've probably said that before, but hey. It's a new year, so maybe I can make this work this time! I've got plans for The Page Boy and I'm hoping I can execute them all :)

Stick with me! I love you all :)
